Steven Jansch

The founder of Esto Consultancy, Steven Jansch, qualified as a solicitor in 2002. He trained at Scotland’s largest law firm before moving to work for a firm whose major clients included a Scottish high-street bank. Seeing how that major financial operation operated and working on cases that included debt recovery, repossessions, and insolvency, was the start of a career that focused on where things have gone wrong and how often underlying problems could have been fixed at a much earlier stage.

Steven enjoys a challenge, having been recognised as an expert in insolvency law by the Law Society of Scotland and in Legal 500, accredited by the Writers to the Signet in Commercial Litigation, and qualifying as a Solicitor-Advocate in 2013, whilst in parallel qualifying with the SRU as a coach and then as a referee. Steven holds various trustee and committee appointments and is a Non-Executive Director at one of the UK’s only security-industry-based Community Interest companies.
